Looking for a cool game on your band new Samsung Wave phone? Lucky you, Twin Blades is available right now from the Bada store almost everywhere in the world!

Peeps in Russia, China, South Africa, Argentina, Australia, Canada and Mexico may have to wait a couple weeks before Samsung makes the paid-apps store available in your countries – which according to the intel retreived from a Korean ninja should come up late june/early july.

As for our fellow Brazilians and Koreans I’m afraid it’s a no-go, apparently your respective governments take the matter of video-games so seriously that there will be no games at all on the Bada store in your countries. It’s a little be more complicated than that but the lawyer-ninja bore us to sleep before we could understand why exactly games are banned there. Sorry pals.

Very good game. Very polished, however sometimes get a bit repetitive.

I hope you make more Bada games.

Just bought it for my wave. Its a beautiful game, i hope you dont forget bada for future projects

    Regards

  • Xairi says:

Oh, and the frozen forest is new? well, i have to say that it looks great on the phone

This game looks really nice, reminds me of those 2d games like Odin Sphere and Muramasa. I just got a Wave but this game isn’t available on our region yet (no app store too). I just hope it runs as good as the other platforms like the iphone since I’ve been disappointed with current multiplat bada/wave games like asphalt where the framerates are just abysmal on such powerful hardware.

I mean, I believe the Wave has similar hardware to the new iphone so I think it should be able to do these games justice.

    • Phil says:

Odin Sphere and Muramasa were indeed big inspirations for us!

No worries about the framerate: we’ve spent some time optimizing the Wave version’s code to ensure full gore smoothness :)

      • Cat Gamer says:

That’s just awesome to hear! Really hope more devs are like you guys and put time to maximize the hardware. I’m guessing the other games like asphalt and need for speed just suffered from the usual direct port/no optimization problem

    • Xairi says:

The game runs very smoothly… i think that the problem is more with the gameloft fast ports, i noticed some bugs and issues on their games :(

  • Georgeio says:

Version 1.0.6 seems to have some issues. The textures for some zombies are showing up as white blocks as are the blood splatters (specifically the zombies that have pans on their heads and in hand). The version before seemed to not have these issues. I did a hard reset on the phone and re-downloaded, it had the same issue.

i am from the philippines and i just purchased this game and yes there are white blocks that are showing i thought it was just normal. How do i deal with the boss that have forcefield? and yes the game version says 1.0.6

just got this today and having lots of fun playing it-it’s keeping me off dead rising2, even though still struggling with first boss (all pointers gladly received). Please tell me you’ve got more bada based plans/sequel/whatever. keep up the great work.

    • Phil says:

      Thank you Jayphex.
To defeat the first boss you need to stay away when he throws his boulder, and time-jump to dodge his cleaving attacks!

  • Ninja Vanish says:

It would be pretty sweet if I could find this game in Ovi Store. Just throwing that out there. Yep, if it were available for the N8, that would be pretty great. :)

  • Phil says:

An OVI store version isn’t planned as of today, but we’ll see how it goes :)

  • Whisky says:
